The Court of Machuca (Patio de Machuca)
Arab and Christian garden
This court was named after the architect who built the Palace of Charles V. The Nasrid and Christian fusion which took place in the Alhambra throughout time can be appreciated in this garden.

The Generalife
The Court of the Main Canal (Patio de la Acequia)
You can feel the privacy for which this court was originally built. A narrow canal crosses it, and the sound of water helped private conversations from being overheard. The Alhambra can be admired from the viewpoint to the left of the canal.
The Chamber of the Ambassadors (Salón de los Embajadores)
The sultan's chambers
This is located in the Torre de Comares and is divided into 9 small romos, which are identical. However, the central one, which had the most exquisite decor.
The Arm Court (Patio de Armas)
Life at the fortress
This is located inside the Alcazaba and it functioned as an arm court. It consisted of small areas where baths and houses of the army officials were to be found. There is also a water deposit and a dungeon.
The Partal
and the Tower of the Ladies (Torre de las Damas)
This court was the Sultans' summer residency in Granada. It is a small bright and lively villa near the Alhambra.
Lindaraja Viewpoint
Ayn Dar Aisa: The eyes of the house of Aisa
A small spot from where you can view the beautiful tiling and Nasrid niches, typical of the Nasrid art.

The Court of the Lions (Patio de los Leones)
Water fountain at the Court of Lions, the Nasrid Palace
This fountain represents the Nasrid architecture at its height. The model is the same as that of Court of the Myrtles' (Palacio de Comares). The court is displayed around the fountain and the open sky.
Palace of Charles V
Palace of the King of Spain and Emperor of Germany
This palace was designed by Pedro Machuca and it is Roman in style. In the inside we can admire not only its magnificent construction but we can also admire the Fine Arts Museum of Granada and the Museum of the Alhambra.
The Hall of the Abencerrages (Sala de los Abencerrajes)

This hall has a breathtaking Mozarab eight-point star shaped dome. 'Abencerrajes' was the name given to the North African dynasty that ruled Granada: the Banu Sarraŷ.
The Alcazaba
The real castle
The Alcazaba of the Alhambra in Granada is the fortress that protected the Nasrid Palace. It is the military and defense section of the monument. It is the oldest construction in the Alhambra.
